Unit 7 of 7

Open

Day 7 — Your decision is documented

What you have afterwards: A written decision: submit or plan v1.1.

Goal

You walk your release gates and decide based on what you really verified.

Understand briefly

The last day is not a closing ritual, it is an inspection. What may ship shows a complete core loop on real devices, has no critical crash and no data loss, has understandable offline and error states, carries truthful descriptions, leaves no unprotected paid paths open and has a reachable kill switch. If something is missing, the right decision is not “anyway” — it is a named v1.1.

Follow along

Paste this prompt into the AI tool you work with:

Here is my current state: [NOTES ON CORE LOOP, STATES, LEGAL, COSTS, TESTS]

1. Walk my release gates one by one and tell me for each: verified, unclear or open.
2. For every “verified”, ask me what I base that on.
3. Turn it into a decision in two sentences plus a v1.1 list.

Be strict: an unclear point is not a passed point.

Build it yourself

Write your decision down — with a date, with evidence per gate and with a list of what is deliberately postponed.

Verify

Only tick a box once you have really checked it. These criteria are the only way to finish this unit.

Self-check

Three questions about decisions you made today. There are no points and no grade — only the why. Every answer can be changed.

1. One release gate is unmet, the rest hold. What follows?
2. In what form do you record the day-7 decision?
3. What happens to what you deliberately deferred?

Next step

That was the last build day. What is open now is not a gap — it is your v1.1.

That was the last unit of this path.
